Happy New Year crafters!

wow 2010 already, can you believe it? where did 2009 and go.

this year i am going to try my best to enter more challenges, starting off with the one over on poppicrafts, the theme is valentines card using black, white and red. a great choice for valentines day but lets not wish the year away lol

1st candle

awww its very christmassy today, the garden is all white and pretty, easy for me to say when i can stay inside and keep warm!
back to crafting....
this is my new stamp set from art journey and i thought she was perfect for a rememberance candle. the first candle iv'e ever made so i'm pretty pleased with myself.
i think i'll be doing a few more now i know how simple they are. hope you like it as much as i do.

wow i just had to come back and share this news with you. Maria has chosen me in her top 5 over on passionforpromarkers so i can now display the passionista badge with pride. aww i am one happy bunny today!
this award was for my vintage card and i'm so pleased because i was a little bit worried about this card but not any more.
thank you maria, i just love my promarkers and the challenges every week.
woohoo....off to celebrate now!

Advent project

i have had so much fun making this project and have entered it for the passionforpromarker challenge.

i used a Go Kreate die to cut the numbers but nearly drove myself crazy, the paper kept sticking in the die and i couldn't get it out. i'm doing something wrong but i have no idea what!

all the papers are from the Daisy & Dandelion christmas collection and papermania brads in christmas colours and snowflakes.

the images are allsorts, whiff of joy, lili of the valley, and tilda.

now for the difficult part....what should i put inside? lol

don't worry i'm not with this, its for next year.

time for another challenge TOP 5

WOOHOO.....this card won me a place in the top 5 over on passionforpromarkers. i'm so pleased! this week is vintage week so here is my card.

the papers are K&Co inked and distressed. flower is a paper punch and an old book. i really struggled to pull pages out of a book, it's a crime! lol

i'm not totally sure if the image works with the papers and i'm having trouble with a sentiment so any idea's would be a great help.

stampin for the weekend

well i took the plunge and made this card for stampin for the weekend challege, its the first time i've entered. i really liked the sketch.

Recipe:-

papermania backing paper,

cuttlebug snowflake embossing folder,

white ribbon from stash

3 white pearls

sentiment from docrafts goody bag,

forever friends stamp from the glitterpot, embossed and then coloured with promarkers and finally a snowflake paper punch.

.....Simples!

another promarker challenge

wow i haven't been here for awhile. i was having so much trouble loading my pictures i just gave up! lol
but i'm back now and hopefully sorted.
So here is my card for the promarker challenge. i just love this manga girl image and she looks great in these colours.
The papers are from Basic grey Eva collection and the flowers are a simple x-cut punch in two sizes with an added gem.
i haven't added a sentiment yet because i've ordered a new cuttlebug die which will work perfectly on this card so lets hope the postie hurries up!
