new stamp number 3

Liliofthevalley stamp number 3 and i love this one too!

i've coloured the image with promarkers again and this time i have used papermania Regency papers.

the flowers are woodware punches and everyone knows that frill....it's the martha stewart doily punch LOL

here is another one of my new stamps from liliofthevalley, i just love these new designs and they are such good value at just £3.50 each or 4 for £12 what a bargain!

i used promarkers to colour the image and the paper is My Minds Eye.

the swirls were a gift from a friend, aren't they lush!

Liliofthevalley stamp number 1

evening all, thanks for stopping by.

I'm like a little girl at christmas today because my new stamps have arrived from Liliofthevalley, i've had them on pre-order for a few weeks so the tension has been building LOL

i couldn't wait to get them ink'd up and coloured in. I've used promarkers again on this one.

the papers are papermania Regency and a couple of plain sheets from the papermill. woodware punches made the flowers and leaves and my new adorableMartha Stewart doily punch made the paper lacey. i finished it off with a couple of gems.

so this is my first new stamp....3 more to go so watch this space! lol

Penny Black challenge

this is the card i made for the penny black challenge over on the docrafts website. the challenge was to use pink, black and silver,

sparkles, gem or pearls,

ribbon,

a peel off corner or embossed

and of course a penny black image.

i really enjoyed this one....how did i do?

the challenge was to use cocoa and rose pink. i think they look great together.

Time to pay it forward

well it is time to pass on my award and after a lot of thought i decided to pass it on to Glenda
because she has been a good friend to me and i know she is just one 'click' away. Glenda has just started her blog too and we are trying to work it out together. Kim always comes to the rescue of course. lol
So Glenda...Thank you for being a friend.

My other friend Patricia doesn't have a blog so i can't pass this award on to her but i would like to thank her too. Pat, where would i be without you? You make me laugh every single day without fail. thank you for being my crafty friend.

I've got another Award!

I must say a huge thank you to Kim for giving me this lovely award. I'm honoured to be in your circle of friends Kim and i will pass it on with pride. Please check out kims blogs and shop, she has some gorgeous digi stamps and lovely charms at excellent prices. Most of the charms used on my cards come from Kim's shop.

CARD FOR MY MUM

My mum will be 79 this month and i didn't want to make her a card that was too cutie but i did still want pretty, so this is what i came up with, i do hope it's ok.

I used the side step design which is easier than it looks.

the papers are My Minds Eye, yes again! lol

the vellum butterflies were punched with a x-cut dimentions punch and i added a beautiful sparkly bindi. i bought these on that auction site, they came in a plastic container with 20 tiny pots inside, perfect for all my gems and brads etc, i've ended up buying 3 so far. lol

back to the card...

I used the birthday embossing folder from cuttlebug and the beautiful swirls were sent to me by a friend over on DoCrafts.

the letters were cut using Broadway Melody sizzix alphabet dies.

finally i added a ribbon from my stash.

the vellum butterfly with bindi bling.
