September

hello crafters,

i'm here today with my september calendar page. as you know, papercraftpat and i swap a calendar page each month.

so this is what i made for september.

 

 

Aster is the flower for september. ok i couldnt think of anything. the only other big thing for september is my birthday! lol

 

i used a free image and coloured it with copics.

the flower i made from a strip of paper and just rolled it up. no expensive dies or punched needed lol

 

although i did use Gokreate alphabet dies and nestabilities decorative labels eight.

in the pink

hi all,

don't you just love these long weekends!

i had a nice lay in today then got up and cooked breakfast for me and hubby and i invited the neighbours. well i suppose it helps that the neighbours are my son and his girlfriend lol

 

hubby has now gone next door to help with the tiling so that gives me time to blog and craft.

 

my card today is for the pink challenge, i love pink so this is the perfect challenge for me.

 

i've used a digi image and coloured her with copics.

papers are K&Co

ribbon was from my stash. (minus the wire, i've saved that for something else)

 

the swirly bits are cheery lyn die cuts called fanciful flourish in the smallest size. find all three sizes at oysterstamps.

 

i will enter this card into the challenge over at In The Pink

 

time to get the stash out and make another card.

Birthday fun

hello,

I'm stuck at home waiting for a parcel today and its not even a crafty parcel. So i thought i'd make the most of the lazy time and make a card.

 

this is what i came up with...

 

i've used two digi's from sassy cheryl and coloured them with copics.

 

i made the flowers with paper punches.

 

the sentiment is done on the computer using a disney font.

 

i will enter this card into the challenge at sassy cheryl's and this will give me a good excuse to pop in and look at this weekends $1 and $2 specials....i love a bargain!

Yay it's summer!

Its so warm here today in essex, it actually feels like summer.

i don't think poor Tia like's it too much, she has found herself a cool spot to crash out in but is still laying panting with her tongue hanging.....not very attractive!

Brian went off to the bird fair nice and early this morning so that gave me time to finish off a card i started last night.

i used a gorgeous digi from Tiddlyinks

this is Flutter By and she is available in rubber or digi

i've coloured her with copics and added a little stickles.

flowers are tim holtz die

i used budding vine embossing folder for the hearts.

all very simple.

i will enter this card into the challenge over at TiddlyInks

well i think it must be Pimms oclock now so im off to the garden. hope you have nice weather where ever you are too.

oh my goodness, im such a bad blogger. i havent posted for 10 days!

(note to self.....must do better)!

well im here with a cute card. hubby is having a charity event at work so i said i'd make him some cards to sell and the money (if any sell) can go into the charity box.

here is one of the cards

i wish i knew where the lovely papers came from but they were sent to me as part of some blog candy. i got blue and pink though so watch this space for a girl card using the same papers.

i've used a new digi from sassy cheryl's designs oh i just love her digi's but its so difficult to choose, i want them all! lol

this one is Noars Tire swing he looks like he's having fun.

the sentiment is from a boy set at liliofthevalley.

i am going to enter this card into the challenge's over at Here Come the Boys

this image is lovely to colour.

i've used papers from the Complete Boy stack and of course they had to be red and black for Mickey didn't they.

this card so reminds me of the holidays we had in florida when my boys were little. the time has flown by and im now waiting for grandchildren so i can take them!

(note to son's......no rush but anytime soon would be lovely)!
