Clean and Simple Joanna Sheen Card

hi All, I hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunny weather we are having.

Im still poorly so no sun for me :(
but I am still crafting....it will take more than an infection to keep me away from my craft table!

I've got a DT card for Creative Inspirations to show you...

the theme is Clean and Simple and Natalie has got some gorgeous Joanna Sheen Signature Dies for the winner so I thought it fitting to use a signature die on my card.

Ive used the negative part of the die cutting...you know, the hole left behind when we cut the dies. I love using them and I've backed this one with some gorgeous glitter card.
my photography skills do this card no justice...the glitter card is stunning in real life.

I used the same glitter card to die cut the sentiment.

clean?........check
Simple?.....check!

looks like I've done it..... Clean and simple!

now its your turn. please come and join us at creative inspirations and you could be in with a chance of winning Natalie's gorgeous dies. I'm just sorry I can't enter. LOL

good luck!

All Tied Up

hi again,
well its time for another challenge and we are All Tied Up at Creative Inspirations so we want to see a bow on your cards this week.

here is mine...

our sponsor this week is The Paper Shelter so I've used one of their gorgeous images.

she is soooo pretty!
I coloured her with copics but added some polychromo's aswell. pens and pencils work so good together don't you think?

Papers are the bargain First Edition Blank Canvas from the Range
12x12 size was only £8.45

some cheese cloth and pearls and of course a satin bow.

I really hope you will join us this week. you could be in with a chance of winning a $20 gift voucher from the paper shelter and we love to see all your creations.

world cup? Prisma's V Polychromo's

Hello, well at last I feel a little more human again. I've been so unwell with a viral infection and the Virtigo has drove me crazy but I am 'upright' again now and able to make a little card.
I had already coloured this lovely image with my polychromo's so that was the difficult part out the way.

the First Edition papers were a bargain last week in the Range. 8 x 8 size was only £4.99 so different pack came home with me along with a gorgeous 12 x12 pack for £8.45
I just love a bargain!

as some of you already know, I have been saving for the polychromo pencils and finially got them
so I thought I would do a little side by side test to see what I think.

now don't get me wrong here, I've been more than happy with my prisma's and still am. I wont be parting with them but I LOVE the poly's! look how much richer the colours looks.
shame about my poor photography skills, the images look much nicer in real life.

I've use the poly image on this card but the prisma one will get used aswell at some point.

so I guess this is where I have to hold up my hands and admit it......

my name is Suzanne and I'm a pencil addict.

please do NOT send me to rehab, I love my addiction!

hope you like todays card and thank you for stopping by but if you have time please visit Creative Inspirations blog and check out this weeks challenge. My fellow design team members have come up with some amazing cards again.

happy crafting

Bright & Bold challenge

wow the weeks go by so quickly, its time for another challenge already

Creative Inspirations this week is
Bright & Bold

that's easy right?

here is what I came up with

ive been wanting to have a go at one of these block cards and it was easier than I imagined.
I found a great tutorial by Deb Valder she made it very clear and simple to follow.
thanks Deb.

this little block card lays flat for posting and just pops back into shape

I used a CC Designs digi and coloured her with prisma pencils. I'm actually pleased with the way her hair came out this time. (im my own biggest critic)

I used a MS punch to make the little flowers. I really do like punches better then dies for flowers so if you have any please send me details as I'd like to buy some new ones for my collection but I'm not sure what flower punches are out there.

(hmmm best not let the hubster know about that ok. what happens on the blog stays on the blog)!

if you have any questions about my card please contact me on my facebook page

and i'll get right back to you.

I really hope you will come and join the challenge at Creative Inspirations
we love to see your beautiful creations every week and my fellow DT members are so talented, im sure you will find some inspirations there.

looking forward to seeing your work.
