hello crafty friends,
how are you all doing after the Christmas holidays?
are you all stuffed with lovely food and enjoying your family visits?
I do hope so but now its time to celebrate the end of 2016 and the start of 2017
(I do hope it's a better year)
I hope you can find some craft time over the next fortnight and come and join us for the last challenge of 2016 at creative inspirations.
we have a sketch for you to follow but you don't have to use it.
I decided not to follow the sketch this time because I was desperate to try my new art deco frame die.
I love it!
I cut the frame into the card and popped acetate behind it and used my copics to colour the stained glass window.
I'll make a tutorial if anyone is interested.
I then put a tealight candle inside the card. don't worry, its battery operated so it start a fire.
this gorgeous die will soon be available from www.craftstash.co.uk
if you haven't checked out their offers yet, you are missing out!
get over there and find some bargains.
I hope you will find the time to join us at creative inspirations.
lets all say goodbye to 2016 by playing along in the same challenge.
happy new year everyone.
hugs Suzanne xx
What a great idea and showcasing the glass window ! I hope the new year will brighten your creativity and life in similar fashion, with myriad shades .
ReplyDeleteI have made a collection of transparency sheets painted with glass paints but they remain slightly sticky. Your copic marker idea is more practical and just as effective.
Beautiful and stunning card, I love your die and the beautiful colours you have used.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very happy and pain free new year. Can 2017 be better for both us, here's hoping.
