I've used Heartfelt Creations aster papers, OMG this paper pack is lush!

The flowers are heartfelt creations aster dies from spellbinders.

these la la land kits are now on pre-order from oysterstamps but the flower dies and papers are in stock.

I think i mght have to do another one of these because i had difficulty picking what papers to use, they are all so lovely.

I'll be back tomorrow to show you another box frame but this one is my favorite.

scrapbook page

hello, wow its a lovely sunny day here again in Essex. It looks almost like spring apart from the patches of snow that have hung around.

I've got something a bit different for you today, some of you may know that i did a calendar challenge with papercraftpat last year, we both enjoyed that so decided this year we would make a scrapbook each month. I have pats photo's and she has some of mine so its nice to see which one's we pick for a project each month and this is my first one.....

these are pats 'boys'

sorry about the position of the watermark but these are not my children so only right for me to cover their faces. even though they are very cute faces!
Peter and Paul and now in their 40's and have children of their own.
I've picked K&Co papers with colours to match the boys sweaters.

the large letters are from a sizzix die set called Broadway Melody
the small letters are GoKreate dies.

The gorgeous corner die was a gift from a docrafts friend but i have a feeling i will need to buy it soon.
It is available from oysterstamps.

I have really enjoyed making the first scrapbook page and i think I could really get into scrapping.

Thank you for stopping to veiw my blog, please leave a comment just to say hello so I know you have been to visit me.

Lace Medallions card

Hello bloggers,
I'm here to show you my latest card,
I've used my new JustRite stamp set called

I've used the lace stamp 4 times and cut squares with two rounded corners and layered them on to black cardstock.
then I made plain red squares to match.
I added the Vintage Love stamp from the same set and used round nesties to cut to size.
the lace stamp is coloured with various red copic pens.

I saw a similar card to this online about a year ago and the card came back into my mind when I saw this stamp set. I don't remember who's blog it was on but I liked the card and it had stuck in my mind.
there are lots more stuck in there that I really must get out one day! LOL

right, if i'm quick I might have time for another card before I have to cook dinner.
(does that make me sound like an addict)?

thank you for visiting my blog.

Poppies Card

Hello, I hope you are all well. Its a bright sunny day here in Essex but a bit chilly.
I've been having a crafty clear out so i'll list a few bits for sale later but first i thought i would show you my latest card.
I've used a lovely rich cream cardstock from papermania, its nicer than it looks in the picture.
I also used my spellbinders Marvelous Squares Dies
The image is Our Daily Bread stamp set called Serve the Lord from Oysterstamps.
I've coloured the pretty poppies with copics and used Our Daily Bread Crocheted circle die
I've layered up the die cuts but the bottom one is just embossed and not cut. this is easy to do with a tan mat.

I love the poppies stamp and have them coloured and ready to mount onto another card so please pop back later to see what i come with.

thanks for visiting my blog and for any comments you may wish to leave.
I've added a 'contact me' page at the top right so if I can help in any way just drop me a note and I'll get back to you.

I would just like to add a note here to let my friend Margaret (margaretsdesignercards) know I'm thinking of her and her husband at the moment. margaret, I'm here if you need anything.

Wings of Love

Hi All,
yay the sun is out today, It really is lovely outside today. I've been in the garden but its too muddy so the patio got swept and thats it.
I came in and sat at my sunny desk and decided to show you last nights card before i get to work on another one.

so here it is...
Wings of Love

named after the beautiful stamp I've used from JustRite, you will find it here
Its a lovely large stamp and I already have another idea in my head for it. watch this space!
I cut the stamp using decrotive labels eight but I'm not keen on the way it turned out to be honest.
thats why added the white die cut underneath.
I've used my lovely vintage tabs from whimsy and the matching die
also available here
These flowers have to be my favorite, they are Heart Felt Creations  Asters set, the leaves are from the same set.
available from Oysterstamps

I added some large flat pearls that i picked up from Dunhelms and some tiny 3mm pearls from good old ebay.

thank you for stopping by. I'm off to craft while its still sunny.

Blog Headache

hi all,
My goodness I've had three days of Blog Headache!
I wanted to load a new card to show you but I didnt have a 'browse' button for my photo's.

I have been telling everyong who will listen about my problem including my husband. Well being a typical man or should I say a typical husband, it has taken him three days to actually listen and take the words in. Of course once he had done this it two him 2 seconds to solve my problem.....

download firefox (another browser) and load my pictures from there.
SIMPLES!

Now don't get me wrong, I love him to bits but GRRRRRR why couldn't he have said that three days ago!
LOL

so.....problem solve and here is my card.

I've used green cardstock for the side stepper base.

this lovely Heart Tree is from La La Land dies and available at Oysterstamps
I also used my La La Land Heart Fence die.
I've used my lovely Impressions Obsession stamp again, I love it!

The lovely sentiment stamp is from Our Daily Bread set called All Occasion Stamps

and to finish off i added some spotty ribbon from my stash and a little acorn charm.

thank you for stopping by and i hope you will come back again soon.
now that i've calmed now from my blogger tantrum i should be able to settle down and make another card.

Hugs for now

Thank you

Hello, I'm here with a quick card today, its my new stamp from Impression Obsession.
I picked up this huge stamp on my last visit to Oystertsamps and it should be one I use a lot with all the birdwatching men in the family!
(thats the feathered variety of course)

I've used vintage sepia ink pad from versafine to stamp the image. Its a lovely big stamp but I didnt have an acrylic block large enough so I just inked up the stamp and used it as it is, no block at all and it worked fine.
The papers are from papermania boofle pack. I've only used one sheet and cheated by cutting out frames for the layering instead of using proper mats. Should I tell you that? do I should really tight? noooo! I just cant bare to waste my lovely papers and hiding them behind another one does seem like a waste to me. so frames it is!

I wasn't really sure about this die-namics bow die, the packaging doesn't really make it look pretty or exciting does it but heyho, I thought i'd give it a try and I must say I was pleasantly surprised. the bow looks lovely.

I think I need to add some nice thick 3D foam into the bow so it wont get flattened in the post, I like my bows to be nice and puffy.
hmm 3D foam or silicone glue? now that is a dilemma.
i've only tried the glue once and I was left with a mess and a dried up tube of glue!
maybe its time for me to try again but I need all the silicone glue tips I can get from you clever crafters first.
help!

Bathtime

aww lovely, everything is back to normal today, husband is back at work and I've flown round the house playing the part of perfect housewife!

so clean house and nice flat clothes means I had time to craft this afternoon and here is my card...

Bathtime Marci from la la land is also having a nice relaxing day!

I've coloured her using my copics and added some dewdrops to look like bubbles.

I love colouring these la la stamps, they aways make my colouring look better than it really is lol

this is my little bathmat, very easily made using some paper from Complete Boy stack and the beautiful La La Land Filigree corner die.
found here

will I ever get fed up with this corner die? I think not, I've used it a million times already. well almost!
I added some white cardstock to the under-side of the mat and put lots of tiny cuts in it to form the tassle ends to my mat.

oh I should have used glossy accents to make a little puddle on the floor.....next time I'll try that. I wish I could get these bright idea's before I finish the card.

I've got luca in the bath for next time, hmmm I wonder if I could merge the stamped images and get them in the bath together! ooh err how naughty of me. LOL I do like playing with stamps and dies though so I might give it a try.
watch this space!

thanks for stopping by.

Vintage Birthdays Tabs 1
