Anything Goes at Creative Inspirations and the option of a sketch.

hello, happy Wednesday!

I have to start this post by saying thank you to everyone who joining in this fortnight, we had some amazing creations. I love visiting your blogs so please keep joining us.

this fortnight is a favorite with sooooo many of you, its Anything Goes and we are expecting a huge turn out. I get exciting thinking about all you clever people I get to meet.

Some of you will know that my furbaby has had surgery so I've spent every second keeping an eye on her and making sure she doesn't touch her stitches. We did try the lampshade collar but it was way too stressful and when she fell down the stairs in it hubby decided that was enough! I'm surprised he didn't chuck it in the bin!

so with my eyes fixed on her I didn't get much chance to craft so I decided not to spend a lot of time colouring an image. we can still make nice cards without image right?

I used Memory Box Fresh Foliage die.

I used a book page for the backing. I find it so hard to tear pages from a book, it goes against everything I have been taught. I've always looked after my books.

the sentiment is from a set called Be Happy Sentiments from AmyR stamps.

this is a very simple card and I followed the sketch which is available on the blog today, although I didn't add the flowers. I'm sure you can do better than me.

please come and join us at Creative inspirations. Oh and as always we have a prize up for grabs.

I really would appreciate it if you could leave me a comment to let me know you came to visit me today. thank you xxx

happy crafting, Suzanne xx

  2. Don't know if I can express it correctly, but love the 'rustic' look of the card ! It is a very touchy-feely effect (and I'm just scratching the surface ;-p)

  4. Love this natural look of leaves and the print background is always fun to see. I had same problem with may dog and we tossed the colar, we ended up with a bandage the stretching kind you wrap around and secure with a metal clip. Then we bought a little baby shirt but her stitches were just behind the shoulder. Our dog just had stitches removed today :) hope your dog heals up soon :)
