For my Favorite Twitcher on our Anniversary

Hi All,

today I have a special card to share with you....

 

My best friend has been married to me for 32 years today!

 

I have to really stop and think about that....32 years? how can that be? surely I'm not old enough to have been married that long!

 

well, he was only 18 on our wedding day. its no wonder my parents were worried.

(dad, look, we lasted)!

 

LOL

 

of course I made an anniversary card but forget the flowers, hearts and chocolates....

I went for something that makes me think of Brian....

 

 

My favourite twitcher!

anyone who knows Brian will understand this card.... he's a crazy person who likes to get up at 'silly o'clock'  in the mornings and take his camera and scope out to look at birds and whatever else is up at that time.

But he puts up with my crazy craft addiction so we are the perfect match.

I really need to find out how to get my hands on some 'real' stamps too but I'm not sure if we can get them in the uk. (note to self....research rubber, Suzanne)

Ain't no Sunshine....

Hi all,

 

I've got a song going round and round in my head today, and its all due to this little cutie from sassy Cheryl

 

 

 

she looks so sad!

 

this is my second card for the showers and flowers challenge over at sassy cheryls.

 

just look at that sad little frown....

I want to give her a hug! lol

 

Cheryl really does know how to give her characters lots of life and I just love using them for my cards.

 

of course I had to add some flowers and a bow too.

 

I used the glaze drops again to highlight the raindrops.

 

Cheryl has another new digi  aswell  which I had to buy and I've got it printed up and ready to colour so watch this space.....

April Showers (sassy cheryl)

April Showers and lots of flowers....

 

that's the theme over at sassy Cheryl's challenge blog and here is my entry

 

 

I've used one of chery;s Oldies this time. Ive had this digi for ages but its now on sale (blooming typical) but she was well worth full price and I really enjoyed colouring her.

 

 

I used copics for the coouring and then added Glaze Drops from cuttingsdgecrafts to highlight the rain.

 

 

I've used a selection of punches and dies to make the flowers and I will be adding a tutorial for the cherry blossom flowers very soon.

 

I enjoyed this image and may even colour her again tonight and add another card.

I Love to Boogie (sassy cheryl digi)

 Hey crafters,

I'm here with yet another sassy Cheryl card,

 

 

 

every time I look at this little cutie the Marc Bolan song I Love to Boogie comes into my head so the sentiment was easy!

 

Do I now own up to hovering while dancing to this song? Its not a pretty sight but its fun LOL

Lets go Camping (sassy cheryl)

hi guys,

I've been colouring with my copics again and todays cutie is another sassy Cheryl digi. you can find it here

 

I love these digi's but I would love to get my hands on some real rubber stamps. why are all the best stamps in America :(

 

so it looks like digi's it is...

 

here is today's card

 

 

 

the challenge at sassy Cheryl's challenge blog has the theme of lots of layers so I think I've managed that.

 

I gave the fence a little curve to add more dimension and I printed Sally and Bella twice and added them with 3D foam

 

I added  lala land Heart tree and coloured it with copics.

 

I think I'm becoming a sassy addict!

I've got 4 more images printed and ready for some colour so I'm off to get some tips fom Cheryl's tutorial video's

boy does she make it look easy.....I wish it was.

Hello Sally.....Sassy Cheryl card

Hello......

 

Before I show you my card today I just want to say a special hello to my craft friend MargaretD2 who is in my thoughts and needs some special hugs so if you can spare a moment please nip over to her blog and leave her a comment, I know she will appreciate it and she deserves a little love at this difficult time.

 Well on to my card which is also a simple 'Hello'

 

 

 



 

this was such a easy card, I printed the gorgeous digi and used Fanciful Lattice die set to cut it out and mounted it onto Kraft card.

 

I used my pencils to colour  sally, this digi is called Ladybug tales

 

I've fallen in love with my pencils and that's partly thanks to Cheryl and her great tutorials, she makes it look so simple. I have a way to go yet but its fun learning!

I think sassy Sally is my favourite......or is it little Noah? oooh I just love them all!

 

I'm off to colour another image now for the challenge. the theme this week is layers so that should be easy enough!

sassy cheryl's, A Letter Sent with Love

Well I've been slow this week with my sassy challenge card but here it is...

 

 

 

I've had my eye on this adorable image for awhile now and Cheryl put her on special so I was a happy bunny. (thank you Cheryl, you're a star)

back to my card....

 

I've made the flower using spellbinders shapabilities Blooms Three die set from www.iconuk.co.uk I ordered these last week and they arrived the next day so amazing service and a great price.

 

The smaller flowers are made using Martha Stewart punches.

 

The challenge at sassy Cheryl's is now fortnightly which means we can enter two cards so I bagged two special offer images and I'll be back soon with a card using the other image.

I think I'm becoming a sassy addict!

 

Well its almost 1am and as I can never get to sleep I've got into the habit of being a night crafter so I'm off to make another card.
